Rain Postpones Guardians-Rays ALCS Game 4 to Saturday

Rain postponed Game 4 of the ALCS in Cleveland on Friday night. The Rays and Guardians will play Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

• 2-1 series lead belongs to Cleveland after a 3-2 Game 3 win.
• Game 5 moves to Sunday, originally a scheduled off day.
• Starters stay the same: Shawn Armstrong for Cleveland, Nick Martinez for Tampa Bay.
• 2019 was the last time an ALCS game was postponed.

Why it matters: If the series goes seven games, both teams will play four straight days with no rest. The winner faces a Milwaukee team that will have had a week off.

• Milwaukee swept the Dodgers and reached its first World Series since 1982.
• Cleveland had already moved Game 3 to 1 p.m. to avoid weather.
