As I’ve said before, shutting down the government does nothing to advance that work.“Regular order requires that Congress provide itself the time for careful consideration and thorough amendment. I’m glad to see that Speaker Johnson has produced a continuing resolution that would do exactly that.“There’s a lot of work left to do.
