Followingthe prayer and pledge, the certificates of election will be presented. Senatorswill then be sworn-in. After the swearing-in, there will be a live quorum.After a quorum is established, the Senate will adopt a numberof housekeeping resolutions. FollowingLeader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business withsenators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
