At that time, Senator Thune is expected tomove to proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of ExecutiveCalendar #23 Kashyap Patel, of Nevada, to be Director of the Federal Bureau ofInvestigation for a term of ten years. A roll call vote is expected on thatmotion. If the motion is made and agreed to, Senator Thune intends to filecloture on the nomination. Followingthat vote, the Senate is expected to vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar#19 Howard Lutnick, of New York, to be Secretary of Commerce.
