We are committed to protecting our elections, upholding safeguards, and making it easy to vote and hard to cheat in Georgia and across the country.” Background: Leftist groups filed suit against Governor Brian Kemp, seeking to extend the voter registration deadline, as set by the legislature statewide by a week in light of Hurricane Helene. Voters have had ample opportunity to register to vote, and there was no reason to extend the deadline across the state.The judge rightfully denied the request in a win for election integrity.
