DuringTuesday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #23Kashyap Patel, of Nevada, to be Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigationfor a term of ten years. The cloture vote is expected to occur on Thursday. Ifcloture is invoked, there will be up to 2 hours of debate equally divided priorto a vote on confirmation of the nomination.
