Even that was a complete failure as his speech was completely dwarfed by President Trump’s raucous Iowa events where over 5,000 patriots came out to support their next President. Recent polling continues to show DeSanctus with pathetic numbers because Republicans know that he simply does not have the stature or ability to lead America. It’s time for him to drop out, lick his wounds, and go back to governing Florida."—Steven Cheung, Trump spokesperson On August 24, 2023, Always Back Down consultant Jeff Roe gave Ron DeSanctimonious 60 days to "beat Trump." The DeSanctimonious bitter-enders are getting irritable with only 16 days left before Jeff Roe throws in the towel. Despite Always Back Down spending more than $9.8 million on Iowa TV ads in an effort to drag DeSanctus from the verge of third place, Ron seems stuck in the low teens in the Hawkeye State. Ron is trailing President Trump by 45 points in the Real Clear Politics average and has absolutely zero path to the nomination. Out of money and out of options, it's becoming obvious that the DeSanctimonians feel the walls closing in. With every coming day, comes a new poll that shows Ron flatlining. From The National Pulse: Ron DeSantis, who has heavily criticized Donald Trump for declining to participate in GOP primary debates hosted by hostile networks, has lost six points since the most recent contest hosted by Fox and Univision. National numbers from DeSantis-friendly pollster WPA puts the Florida Governor a distant second, on 13 percent – tied with the previously unknown Vivek Ramaswamy, who has been the candidate most vocally sympathetic to Trump. The former president leads the two by 35 points.
