Here are the facts: When she ran for president in 2020, Kamala Harris’ plan called for ending “sales of gas-powered cars by 2035.” Axios even asked her campaign if Kamala still supported this and they refused to distance themselves from the radical plan. Additionally, Kamala co-sponsored legislation that would mandate that by 2040 only zero-emission cars can be sold. While in office, Kamala has pursued her desire to ban gas-powered cars. The Harris-Biden administration’s “strictest-ever rules” for tailpipe emissions will essentially force a “de facto electric vehicle mandate” onto Americans. The rules set emission standards so strict that electric vehicles (EVs) must account for over half of new car sales by 2032.
