02Overview
This policy explains how Fastrack News LLC ("Fastrack", "we") collects, uses, and shares information when you use fastrack.news and the Fastrack apps.
03Information we collect
Account information: name and email address — Fastrack accounts are passwordless, so we never store a password. Usage information: pages viewed, stories opened, approximate region, and device and browser type. Preferences: pinned topics and reading settings.
We do not collect precise location, and we do not buy data about you from third parties.
04How we use it
To operate and improve the service, personalize your feeds, deliver the Daily Brief and account email, measure aggregate reading patterns, and prevent abuse.
06Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs its processing.
07Email
We send the Daily Brief to subscribers who opt in, plus transactional email about your account. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe. We never sell or rent our lists.
08Sharing
We share data only with service providers who run the product for us — hosting, email delivery, and payments — under contracts limiting their use of it, and where the law requires. We may publish aggregate, non-identifying statistics.
09Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, with encrypted backups purged within 90.
10Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from account settings or by emailing privacy@fastrack.news. Where GDPR or CCPA applies, you also have the rights those laws provide, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
11Children
Fastrack is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy here. If a change is material, we'll email account holders before it takes effect.

14Terms of Service
The agreement governing your use of Fastrack.
15Agreement
By using fastrack.news or the Fastrack apps you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
16The service
Fastrack aggregates, clusters, and analyzes news coverage. Headlines and summaries are generated from source reporting and always link to the original outlets. Bias and factuality ratings are editorial judgments provided for information — not statements of fact about any outlet.
17Accounts
Keep your account information accurate and your email inbox secure — sign-in links are sent there. Accounts are personal — one person per account.
18Subscriptions & free trial
Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any price change affects you.
19Acceptable use
No scraping or bulk republication of the service, no reverse engineering, no abuse of our systems, and no automated access at scale without written permission.
20Comments & community
Where Fastrack offers discussion features, you own what you write and grant us a license to display it on the service. Don't post anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or impersonating someone else. Comments are moderated; we may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. Report abuse from any comment's menu or via support@fastrack.news.
21Content & IP
The Fastrack software, design, ratings, and data compilations belong to us. Source articles belong to their publishers. Your access is for personal, non-commercial use.
22Third-party links
We link out to publishers across the spectrum. Their sites, content, and terms are their own.
23Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or availability. Nothing on Fastrack is professional advice.
24Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
25Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
26Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes belong in Delaware courts.
27Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. Material changes will be announced by email.
