Ossoff Wins Reelection in Georgia Senate Race

Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff won reelection in Georgia on Tuesday, defeating Republican Rep. Mike Collins.

7:18 p.m. EST: Decision Desk HQ projected Ossoff the winner.
$26 million: Ossoff's reported cash on hand, per financial disclosures.
2.8 million-plus Georgians voted early, a state record.
$35 million in TV ads from Senate Leadership Fund, before it pulled out.

Why it matters: Republicans once saw Georgia as their easiest Senate pickup. Ossoff, 39, first won the seat in a 2021 runoff.

Ossoff tied Collins to President Trump, tariffs and the Iran war.
Collins blamed Biden-era policies and Ossoff's votes for high prices.
