A Russian drone strike hit the train station in Dnipro, Ukraine, on Thursday. At least 13 people were killed.
13 people confirmed dead, President Volodymyr Zelensky said. 5 people were injured in the strike. A commuter train and a passenger train were stopped at the platform. 1,200 Ukrainian drones were reported downed by Russia the night before. Why it matters: The strike hit civilian rail traffic, not a military site. Zelensky is using it to press Western governments to act.
Zelensky called the strike "horrific" and urged "fair and decisive actions by America and Europe." The attack followed a large overnight Ukrainian drone barrage, much of it aimed at Moscow.
