Fastrack · Falcons Upset 49ers for First Loss of Season

The Falcons beat the 49ers 29-20 in Atlanta, handing San Francisco its first loss of the season.

4 San Francisco turnovers led to 13 Atlanta points.
3 touchdown passes from Michael Penix Jr. went to Muse, Pitts and London.
2 interceptions thrown by Purdy, matching his total through six games.
Rookie Kendal Daniels made a late interception and recovered Kittle's fumble.

Why it matters: San Francisco played without Nick Bosa and several receivers, then lost Christian McCaffrey for much of the first half. The 49ers led by 11 early but did not lead after halftime.

+330: Purdy's DraftKings MVP odds after the loss, down from +190.
Minnesota and Kansas City remain the league's only unbeaten teams.
