Karoline Leavitt Joins Fox News After Leaving Press Secretary Role

Karoline Leavitt will join Fox News as an on-air contributor starting Nov. 1. The network announced the hire Monday, two months after Leavitt left the White House.

29 years old, Leavitt was the youngest person ever to hold the press secretary role.
She served as Trump's press secretary from January 2025 to August 2026.
She stepped down in August, citing a desire to spend more time with her family.
Trump named her an outside advisor when she departed and called her one of his most trusted aides.

Why it matters: The hire continues a recurring exchange of personnel between Fox News and Republican administrations.

Kayleigh McEnany joined Fox after Trump's first term and remains at the network.
Trump has also moved Fox News personalities into administration roles, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
