Trump Says He'll Remove Tariffs on Irish Whiskey
President Trump said he will remove tariffs on Irish whiskey, according to reporting Saturday.
- Trump announced the tariff removal without specifying a timeline or mechanism.
Why it matters: Irish whiskey exports to the U.S. have been subject to tariffs amid broader U.S.-EU trade disputes. Any rollback would directly benefit Irish distillers and U.S. importers.
